Cookie hopes to ‘ear about a new home soon
Cookie is a ten-year-old Terrier and arrived at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe after he was found as a stray. Since his arrival, his curious quirk has caught everyone’s attention so staff at the rehoming centre hope that the appeals to find Cookie - and his big ears - a home, don’t go in one ear and out the other.
Elise Watson, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, said: “Cookie is such a wonderful chap and his ears caught our attention straight away! He’s a real favourite amongst the staff and his other canine friends so we hope he finds a home really soon.
“Cookie is an older boy so is looking for a quiet adult-only home where he can spend the rest of his twilight years. He enjoys a fuss but also likes his alone time so he could live with older teenagers as long as they give him the space he needs.
“Like a typical terrier, he enjoys going for walks and using his nose to sniff out new things. He has been sharing his kennel with a doggy friend since his arrival and could share his home with another calm dog.”
