Rescue me! The lonely hearts hoping to find pawfect match this Valentine’s Day

Dogs Trust Ilfracombe is hoping that these wonderful woofers won’t be in the Lonely Hearts club for much longer and they find their pawfect match ahead of the most romantic day of the year.

These rescue dogs have all put paw to paper to write to ‘Cupawd’ in a hope that someone will love them 'droolly', madly, deeply and rehome them for Valentine’s Day.

The four dogs eagerly awaiting a new family at the West Down rehoming centre are: three-year-old English Bulldog, Billy, Deano the three-year-old Giant Schnauzer, Ginger the eight-year-old Jack Russell Terrier and Nancy, a five-year-old Lurcher.

Elise Watson, Manager at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe, said:

“These four wonderful dogs would love a new home for Valentine’s Day. They’re all different in personality and what they’d need from a new family, but the one thing they have in common is the desire to find a loving new owner ahead of the most romantic day of the year! If you have space in your heart to give one of our dogs a loving new home, we’d love to hear from you."
