Doggie duo looking for double the love this Valentine’s day
Love is in the air at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe as staff appeal for a home for a devoted doggy duo ahead of the most romantic day of the year.
It really ‘muttley’ love for four-year-old Lurchers Sandy and Summer after they arrived at the Hazledene-based rehoming centre together after a tough start to life. They spend their days enjoying romantic walks and snuggling up on their bed while they await their forever home. We’re hoping they will find their special someone just in time for Valentine’s Day.
Dogs Trust Ilfracombe’s Manager Elise Watson, said:
“Sandy and Summer absolutely adore each other. They spend every waking moment together; they really are the best of friends. They are a fantastic pair of dogs and would make a wonderful addition to a family home who can offer double the love and take on this perfect pair.”
This doggy duo is hoping someone will love them ‘droolly’, madly, deeply and rehome them as a pair for Valentine’s Day. Sandy is incredibly attached to Summer who is the more confident of the two and follows her everywhere.
Their new family will need to be patient while they adjust to life in a home and would need to be prepared to help them transition by taking them home for a few hours at a time to get used to a new environment.
