Dogs Trust supporters - join us for a Waggy Walk and Talk!
Fancy a lovely walk with your canine companion, taking in the beautiful countryside and perhaps meeting new friends, both two and four-legged?
If so, make sure Sunday 8 April is in your diary for our first ever Waggy Walk and Talk with South West Lakes Trust, around part of Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor. The walk will start by the Activity Centre and will take you and your canine companions to the dam and back (approximately one to two hours) – so a nice, pleasant and easily accessible walk for everyone to enjoy.
What’s more, one of South West Lakes Trust’s Countryside Wardens will be guiding the walk, highlighting some of the special sights around the lake, as well as talking about the management of the site. We will also be on hand along the route to talk about Dogs Trust and to answer any questions you may have about the charity.
The entrance fee is just £4 per person (under 16s and dogs free), with money raised from the entrance being split between the two Trusts. If you are able to join us, FREE parking is also being laid on for you at the Activity Centre car park. Plus, there will be an opportunity to buy Dogs Trust goodies, as well as pick up information about the charity and that of South West Lakes Trust.
We really hope you can join us for this fun, social event, making it ‘pawsome’ for you, your dog and for everyone involved. In the meantime, watch this space, as we will keep you posted of the start time and when the booking system is online. Plus, remember to pass on the details to your family and friends. We look forward to seeing you all there – woof!
