Book your Waggy Walk and Talk place now!
The booking system is now open for our first ever Waggy Walk and Talk around part of Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor. As I mentioned last week, Dogs Trust and South West Lakes Trust are coming together to hold the guided walk for you and your canine companions to enjoy on Sunday 8 April. It will start at 10am by the Activity Centre and will follow the path to the dam and back (approximately one to two hours) – so a nice, pleasant and easily accessible walk for everyone to enjoy!
The entrance fee is just £4 per person (under 16s and dogs free), with parking at the Activity Centre Car Park also free to participants. (Please note, the alternative main car park is a ‘Pay and Display’.)
Advanced online booking for this event is advised, as places are limited. You can also turn up and pay on the day, subject to space being available, although please arrive half an hour earlier to register.
The café will be open from 9.00am, where you can buy refreshments before the walk. It will also be selling light lunches, should you wish to have one when you get back (and where you can also carry on talking to friends, old and new, both two-legged and four-legged!).
For further details about this friendly, social event, please contact me, Amy Bingham, by phoning 01271 817716 or email [email protected].
Other than that, I look forward to seeing you all there!
