Opening the doors of Dogs Trust Ilfracombe
Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes of Dogs Trust Ilfracombe? Well, this Howl’oween, we offered supporters the chance of a sneeky peek around the rehoming centre.
From the (not so) dark corridors behind the kennels, to the ‘Trick or Treat’ Training Barn - we creaked open the doors at the West Down rehoming centre on Wednesday 30 October, for our special Happy Howl’oween evening.
The free event saw supporters being guided through the centre, which included areas not usually open to the public. Dogs Trust staff were also on-hand to talk about the wide-ranging work of the charity, as well as highlight the benefits of dog training and pass on some tips to visitors.
If you missed out on this latest Howl’oween evening but would like to attend a similar event in the future, please contact Supporter Relations Officer Amy Bingham, as she will be organising further events, depending on demand.
