In the spotlight at Ilfracombe - Kip!

Kip is a soppy five-year-old Greyhound who is looking for a home from Dogs Trust Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre.

Kip is a happy, gentle boy who has a lot of love to give to the family who adopts him. He is affectionate and enjoys a fuss. He walks beautifully on a lead, right by your side and is sociable with other dogs. When off lead he enjoys a quick sprint around the garden and a play with squeaky toys.

People may be put off rehoming a Greyhound due to the common misconception that they need lots of exercise. However, it is quite the opposite! Greyhounds love to run and burn off their energy, but they can only sustain for a short amount of time and then need a good nap. Kip is quite the couch-potato who likes a nice comfy bed.

Kip is looking for a loving home where he could live with teenagers and possibly another suitable female dog. Kip loves company and looks to his humans for reassurance, he’d like his adopters around most of the time to maximise his cuddle time. He would like a quiet home environment and a nice garden to play in.

If you think you can give Kip the loving, forever home he deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709, we are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
