Sweet 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Cody is looking for a forever home

Cody the Jack Russell Terrier from Dogs Trust Ilfracombe

Cody is a three-year-old rough coated Jack Russell Terrier, who is looking for a home at Dogs Trust Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre.

Sweet Cody can find new people and new situations a little scary, however when he knows and trusts you he cannot wait to hang out with you and his tail will not stop wagging! He is a happy, bouncy, excitable chap who loves to play with toys, his absolute favourites are the squeaky variety. Here at the centre he has made friends with other dogs of similar size and he enjoys going for walks with them and having a play. He is happy to jump into a car to find quieter walks where he doesn’t have to worry too much about strangers approaching him.

Cody is looking for patient, loving adopters who are prepared to visit the centre a few times to build a bond with him. He will need an adult only home without too many visitors to get used to. Adopters with previous experience of nervous dogs would be ideal and he will need access to quiet walks. Cody is looking to be the only dog in the home, so he can have all of his toys for himself but would love small doggie friends to go for walks with.

If you think you can give Cody the loving, forever home he deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709.

We are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
