COVID-19 info: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public but you can still adopt some of our dogs: take a look at their profiles to see which ones. We’ve set up a new rehoming process which includes social distancing measures to help keep staff and adopters safe.

In the spotlight at Ilfracombe - Blue!

Blue the Terrier-cross

Blue is a lively two-year-old Terrier-cross who is looking for a home from Dogs Trust Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre.

Blue is a young, playful little chap who is full of beans and likes to enjoy life to the max. He is happy around his human pals and loves to go for long walks. He will happily jump into the back seat of a car to go off on adventures. Here at the centre he has been making friends with other dogs, he prefers small dogs to socialise with as he can be worried by bigger dogs. Blue knows a sit and paw and would happily learn more tricks for tasty treats.

Blue is looking for adopters who will embrace his liveliness so will need an active home. As Blue can get quite over-excited with his human pals, any children in the home will need to be older teens of fourteen-years plus. Blue has good history of living with a cat so perhaps he could live with a dog-savvy cat in his new home. Adopters will need to give Blue time to settle into his new home before building up time left alone gradually. Energetic Blue will need a secure garden.

If you think you can give Blue the loving, forever home he deserves, then please give our Canine Carers a call at our Ilfracombe Rehoming Centre on 01271 812709, we are open every day between 12noon and 4pm except Wednesday when we are open from 4.30pm until 7.30pm.
