Gina's day out in the Dog Mobile
Travel-loving Gina took a trip to Exeter
Gina is a three-year-old Greyhound who arrived at the centre back in August 2018 as a retired racer. Since then she has won the hearts of her carers and volunteers with her affectionate, gentle nature; now she just needs a home to call her own.
Gina was chosen to go to Exeter to meet up with the Dog Mobile as she loves car travel. She is relaxed, quiet and settled in the car, and therefore happy to make the one hour, twenty minutes car journey. She loves a fuss and absolutely loved the attention that she received from the public.
Whilst in Exeter she enjoyed a few short strolls along the High Street and into some parks. She walks beautifully on her lead, right by your-side. Gina really enjoyed her day out, she listened to lots of people enquiring about rehoming a Dogs Trust dog, however she is still waiting for her special someone to come along.
Gina’s favourite things to do are relax on a sofa and eat nice tasty treats. She has experience of home living from spending some time in a foster home. She lived with another dog, she was housetrained and slept well, all through the night. Her favourite Canine Carer Katie sometimes takes her home for a night too. They go on lovely walks and then enjoy fuss and snuggling up together on the sofa.
Gina is looking for a loving home where she could live with children as young as eleven and possibly another calm dog.
