Dodger wears his heart on his face

We’ve all heard the saying ‘wearing your heart on your sleeve’ but this Valentine’s Day, Dogs Trust Glasgow is appealing for a home for Dodger – a four-year-old resident who wears his heart on his face!

Loveable Terrier Dodger immediately caught the eye of Rehoming Centre staff when they spotted the unusual heart-shaped marking on his forehead and he has certainly lived up to his appearance, showing nothing but love to his favourite carers and quickly becoming a firm favourite with everyone at the Rehoming Centre.

Despite seeing many of his counterparts find their pawfect match during his 15 months at Dogs Trust, the big-hearted hound is still yet to meet his one-and-only and staff hope that this Valentine’s Day a devoted new owner will sweep him off his paws and whisk him away to a loving home of his own.

Sandra Lawton, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Glasgow comments,

“We couldn’t believe it when we noticed Dodger’s heart-shaped marking - it’s made even more extraordinary by just how loving he is! He is an affectionate boy who loves cuddles with his favourite carers and is looking for a very special someone to give him the adoring home he deserves.”

“Dodger is a gentle boy who can take time getting to know you but once he does, he loves to play, especially when it involves chasing after a tennis balls! He is looking for a home with older children who can give him the space he needs to settle in and  he would prefer to be the only dog in the home so he can have his owners all to himself. He would love for new owners to be around for most of the time to keep him company and help him settle in to a new environment”
