Scotland's largest rescue puppy gets special reunion at fun day
Arnie the Great Dane, Dogs Trust Glasgow’s largest puppy, who weighed more than a baby Hippo at only five months old; recently got a special reunion with his favourite canine carer. Arnie attended Dogs Trust Glasgow’s Fun Day on Sunday with his owner Julie Reid, where he immediately recognised staff member Jenni, who had spent lots of time building a bond with him at the rehoming centre while he was a resident. Arnie was so excited to see Jenni that he forgot his training and jumped up to give her a huge hug. So, it is back to Dogs Trust Dog School for a training top-up!
Ex-Dogs Trust residents and their owners have been attending Dogs Trust Fun Days across the UK, giving canine carers a chance to be reunited with the dogs they cared for at the rehoming centres.
