Emma Hamilton – Glasgow Supporter Relations Officer
Emma Hamilton covers Glasgow and the surrounding areas
Hello, I’m Emma Hamilton and I’m the Regional Supporter Relations Manager at Dogs Trust Glasgow, where I’ve worked since 2008. I became the SRO in 2012 and the role is so varied that no two days are ever the same.
I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the free Canine Care Card service and answer any legacy enquiries.
As well, we attend the closest DogFest event to help with the Dogs Trust Village.
I have a Jack Russell cross called Serge. Serge was born at the rehoming centre over Christmas 2012 after his mum had been found as a stray. The thing I like best about my job is having the opportunity to work so closely with such wonderful dogs, raising awareness about all the work we do at Dogs Trust and meeting lots of doggy loving people.
My hobbies include going to see live music, cooking and hill walking. Finally, a little-known fact about me is that I studied Forensic Investigation at university before changing my mind about my career.
If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card service or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 0141 773 5141 or email me at [email protected]
