Emma-Louise Livingstone – Glasgow Supporter Relations Officer

Emma- Louise Livingstone covers Glasgow and the surrounding areas

I’ve worked for Dogs Trust since 2008 and became the Supporter Relations Officer at the Glasgow Rehoming Centre in 2012. The role is very varied and no two days are the same.

I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility and I help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!

I have a Jack Russell Cross called Serge.  Serge was born at the rehoming centre over Christmas 2012 after his mum had been found as a stray. My favourite colours are black and purple. The thing I like best about my job is having the opportunity to work so closely with such wonderful dogs, raising awareness about all the work we do at Dogs Trust and meeting lots of doggy loving people.  My hobbies include going to see live bands (I love music). Finally, a little known fact about me is that I once completed the West Highland Way in four days for Charity.  I also studied Forensic Investigation at university before deciding to make a career change.

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 0141 773 5141
or 07557119777 or email me at [email protected]
