*Dogs Trust Glasgow will be closing at 3.30pm today (5/11/2018) due to an increase in firework activity that is expected this evening.*
We are pleased to say Dogs Trust Glasgow is now fully open and operating as normal. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and well wishes during our temporary closure.
*If you are interested in rehoming from us and live in rented accommodation, please remember to bring written permission with you to the centre.*
Following the announcement of compulsory microchipping in Scotland microchipping at the centre is currently by appointment only.
Our lovely centre has 66 glass fronted kennels that house hundreds of dogs every year on their journey to a new home. Like every Dogs Trust centre, we never put a healthy dog down, so we'll never stop trying to find a home for every dog, even the 'special dogs' who have been with us for six months or more.
If you are on the lookout for a new pooch please come in and visit. For more information about rehoming a dog, donations, visiting the centre and volunteering, please contact our Rehoming Centre Team on 0141 773 5130 or email the centre.
Did you know our Supporter Relations Officer (SRO), Emma-Louise Livingstone, can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre? She also deals with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one, as well as answering any questions about our free Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies. She also organises the annual Fun Day and helps with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
