Covid-19 update: Our rehoming centres in England will be closed to the public until lockdown lifts in early December. We’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with increased social distancing measures in place to keep our staff and adopters safe.

Shauna Stedman – Evesham Supporter Relations Officer

Shauna Stedman covers Evesham and the surrounding area

I’ve worked for Dogs Trust since 1996 and became the Supporter Relations Officer at the Evesham Rehoming Centre in July 2000. The role is very varied and no two days are the same.

I offer free talks to community groups and also organise tours of the rehoming centre, as well as dealing with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one. I can also talk to you about the Canine Care Card Scheme and answer any legacy enquiries.

The annual Fun Day is also my responsibility and I help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!

I have three dogs: a Bulldog cross called Dolly, a deaf Bulldog called Jeff and Twinkle the Shih Tzu. My favourite colour is raspberry. The thing I like best about my job is talking and meeting new people. I also love seeing the dogs come and go through our gates (especially the happy endings!). My hobbies include making the most out of the spare time I have with my family and horse-riding. Finally, a little known fact about me is that I love racing cars around an oval grass track!.

If you would like any information about booking a talk or tour for your community group or are enquiring about the Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies, then please don’t hesitate to call me on 01386 835842 or email me at [email protected]
