Merry Christmas from Dogs Trust Darlington
It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas everywhere you go! Well it certainly is at Dogs Trust Darlington.
We have been so fortunate to receive lots of amazing gifts and treats for our dogs and send a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported us this year. Without you all we wouldn’t be able to look after and find forever homes for as many dogs as we do.
Here’s a little poem that we have adapted from “When Santa Claus Comes” author unknown. We hope you enjoy it and that it gets you in a festive mood.
When Santa Paws Comes
A good time is coming, I wish it were here,
The very best time in the whole of the year;
I’m counting each day on my paws and claws,
the weeks that must pass before Santa Paws comes.
Then when the first snowflakes begin to come down,
And the wind whistles sharp and the branches are brown,
I’ll not mind the cold, though my paws it numbs,
For it brings the time nearer when Santa Paws comes.
Merry Christmas everyone!
