Dogs Trust

Tinker by name, Tinker by nature!

Jack Russell Terrier Tinker is looking for a new home

Tink the Jack Russell Terrier at Dogs Trust Darlington

Don't let that cute little head tilt fool you!

Dogs Trust Darlington's Tinker may be one of the cutest residents but she certainly lives up to her name. This young girl is not yet a year old and has not had the easiest start in life. Tinker was found as a stray in February and taken into the care of the local authority animal welfare team. Unchipped and unclaimed Dogs Trust were able to offer a home with them whilst they searched for her special someone.

If you are looking for a little whirlwind with masses of personality and are able to dedicate a lot of time into her training then Tinker could possibly be the one for you. She needs all the usual puppy training plus lead work and keeping all four paws on the floor. A very active girl she will also need lots of exercise, fun and games.

Tinker needs work on her social skills, she can be very mouthy when she gets over excited so can live with sensible older teenagers (over 16 years of age). This little lady has so much to learn but her enthusiastic and cheeky personality will make her a rewarding little dog to own and train.

Check out Tinker's profile for more information on this lively young lady. Anyone interested in this little tornado will need to speak to the training team regarding her behaviour, and how to help her settle in to her new home.  You can contact the Darlington Rehoming Centre on 01325 333114.
