Fingers crossed for a jolly January for Jess

Dogs Trust Darlington's Dog of the Month

Jess the Staffordshire Bull Terrier at Dogs Trust Darlington

Jess is a Staffordshire bull terrier who will be 12 years young on 1st February 2019.

Jess originally came into Dogs Trust Darlington in February 2018 after being found as a stray. Since then Jess has been in two homes but unfortunately has found her way back to the centre. Jess has recently had a stay in a foster home where she had a great time and came back with a glowing report. She slept through the night, although she did prefer to pick her own sleeping spot and has a tendency to snore. Jess enjoyed her food and her walks so long as it was not raining.

Jess is a proper "cuddle monster" and loves the company of her humans. She also enjoys her food, especially tasty treats like a little piece of cheese. Although a more mature lady Jess still has bags of energy, her favourite toys are balls and she loves a good game of tug when the mood takes her.

Jess is not a fan of other dogs and is muzzled on a walk although she doesn’t really show any interest in them so long as they are respectful. Jess is looking for a home where she will be the only pet and have all the hugs to herself. She can live with children aged 11 and over.

If you think that you could give this loving girl the forever home she so deserves please contact the centre on 01325 333114. You can find a video, photos and more information about Jess on her profile.

Jess is just one of over 80 dogs currently looking for a home at the centre; we have an amazing selection of shapes, sizes, ages and breeds that are looking for a wide variety of homes.
