Sponsor Dog Copper's Birthday Celebrations

Handsome boy Copper celebrates his 14th birthday at Dogs Trust Darlington.

Sponsor Dog Copper celebrates his birthday at Dogs Trust Darlington.

What a week of fun activities Sponsor Dog Copper at Dogs Trust Darlington has had!

This handsome boy celebrated his birthday on the 1st July and at 14 years young he has had just the best time. Never one to hide from the limelight or to miss a party, Copper managed to stretch his birthday out for the whole week.

First up was a party with the staff, which included lots of fuss and cuddles and a birthday photoshoot. Then he continued the celebrations with his favourite walking buddies Charlie and Pippa. They had a birthday group walk followed by some special dog friendly birthday “pup-cakes” made by Assistant Manager Operations, Sharon.

On Sunday morning he had a trip offsite for a countryside walk to Hury Reservoir in the Balder Valley. Canine Carers Blain, Caitlin and Paul arranged the trip out on their weekend off; Copper went on the adventure along with his walking buddies Charlie and Bracken who was adopted by Blain and Caitlin earlier this year.

To round everything off Copper was so lucky to get lots of birthday cards and presents from his sponsors.

On behalf of Copper, everyone at the Darlington Rehoming Centre sends a huge thank you to his supporters and everyone who has made his 14th birthday a very special one!
