UPDATE: Our rehoming centres are closed until further notice, however we are now able to rehome a small number of our amazing dogs. Each dog’s profile will let you know if they are looking for a new home. For the time-being, we are unable to register your interest for dogs who are not yet available for rehoming.

Calling all Terrier lovers

Meet the Dogs Trust Darlington Cheeky Boys

George the Terrier

Dogs Trust Darlington has four cheeky terriers each looking for a “Special Someone” who appreciates their terrier temperament and busy body nature.

Aged between 2 and 12 years they are all very active, great fun, independent little lads who know their own mind. All are looking for quiet, adult only homes where they are the only pet.

George is 12 year old Jack Russell who is a sensitive man looking for patient owners and time to settle into a new home. Given the time and opportunity George would become your best buddy; he is a lover of squeaky toys and will be lots of fun to have around. Quiet walks, toys to play with and a fire to lie by would be just perfect for him.

Charlie is a 2 year old Shih Tzu cross; he is a little guy with a feisty nature. This bouncy boy is looking for a new family who will continue his training. Charlie loves a bit of fuss and attention once he knows you. He loves to explore new places and can go out on walks with sociable doggy friends.

Kai is a 6 year old Jack Russell who has a mighty personality. He takes his time getting to know people but once he does he is full of fun and very affectionate. Kai can have walking buddies so long as they are polite and have good doggy manners. A cosy bed to get comfy in would be near the top of his wish list.

Sparky is a 12 year old Jack Russell who is an independent man who is happy to entertain himself with his toys for a few hours. He does have a sensitive side but when he makes a friend it is a “friend for life”. Sparky is very active, he really enjoys getting out and about on his walks, after that he would love a cosy place to curl up and have a snooze.

If you are a lover of cheeky, fun and lively terrier’s one of these boys may be just the companion you are looking for. Check out their profiles on Dogs Trust Darlington’s page, for more information on them. Alternatively you can contact the centre on 01325 333114.
