Long-termer 'Riley' hopes to find love this Valentine's Day
Long-termer at Dogs Trust Canterbury, Saluki Riley is hoping to find his special someone this Valentine’s Day.
Affectionate four year-old Riley has been in kennels since January 2017 and hopes that he will finally find his ‘furry-tail’ ending this month. He will need an active, adult-only home where he’ll be able to exercise and release all of that energy!
Dogs Trust Canterbury’s Rehoming Centre Manager Harriet Blaskett said:
“Riley is such a goofy character - he’s our resident clown here at the centre!
“He’s such an affectionate boy who loves his toys and loves a fuss. He’s a funny boy, guaranteed to make you smile, all of us at the centre simply cannot understand why he hasn’t been whisked off to his forever home already!”
Riley will need a home where his owners are home most of the time so that they can slowly work to build up his confidence. He enjoys a game of chase with appropriate doggy friends, but can get over-excited so Canterbury’s behaviour team can advise his new family on how to help him manage his frustration and continue his positive reward-based training.
If you think you could be Riley’s Valentine please contact the centre on 01227 792 505.
