Homeless hound looking for the luck of the Irish as she sniffs out a home for St Patricks Day

Staff at Dogs Trust Canterbury are hoping that Tia’s luck will finally come in as she hasn’t had the best start in life after coming to the rehoming centre as a stray. The eight year old border terrier cross is looking for a loving new owner who will bring her out of her shell as she can be a little shy when she first meets people but when she gets to know you will be a friend for life.

Her carers arranged a St Patricks day photoshoot to help her find the loving home she deserves. Tia  adores  food, playing with other dogs and long walks in the woods. Tia is looking for an active home with owners who will encourage her confidence. She is looking for an adult home and can potentially live with another dog. Tia will need all her basic training but as she loves her treats her new owner should have lots of fun training her.

Dogs Trust Canterbury Supporter Relations Manager Lara Murphy explains:

“Tia is a such a sweet girl we really hope a home is at the end of the rainbow is waiting for her. She really enjoyed her photoshoot and spent lots of time sniffing around the grass for a four leaved clover. Tia has her paws crossed she will find a  new owners in time for the Irish holiday.”
