Crew of Chihuahua's arrive at charity
Dogs Trust Canterbury rehoming appeal
A Whitstable-based dog charity has welcomed nine pint-sized pooches all looking for their ‘furrytail’ ending. The crowd of Chihuahuas were handed over to Dogs Trust Canterbury after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them.
Whilst Joey, Ruby, Teabag, Jessica, Maisy and Wilma have all found their special someone, Molly, Oscar and Tazzi are still looking for loving homes.
Harriet Blaskett, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Canterbury, said:
“The herd of little lovelies have been keeping staff on their toes here at Dogs Trust Canterbury! Looking for ‘pawfect’ homes, our crew of Chihuahuas might be little but they have big hearts.
“Despite previously living in a household full of the breed, the loveable lads and ladies can be worried by other dogs and would prefer to be the only pooch in the home, living with a maximum of two adults. They’re looking for patient adopters who can help boost their confidence and show them that the world isn’t such a scary place.”
With ages ranging from five to nine, the Chihuahuas would benefit from further training and socialization.
