We have a Waggy Wednesday following the Weekend

Here at the Canterbury Centre some of our dogs are wagging their tails with excitement following a special visit over the weekend. A young local fan named Matteo recently celebrated his birthday, however rather than ask for lots of wonderful presents for him, he wanted gifts he could donate to our dogs

The dogs would like to say a special Thank You for your kindness and thinking of them on your birthday so here’s a few pictures featuring Noel who has been with us since Easter.

Noel is a 2-year-old Lurcher Cross who sometimes gets overlooked as he can be a little shy when meeting new people. He has huge potential as since being with us his confidence has grown and he loves to interact with his canine carers. He especially enjoyed playing with his new toys from Mateo and some of those Tasty Treats came in handy when teaching him new tricks such as sit, down, although paw is still work in progress.

Noel is looking for an adult only home and would potentially benefit from living with another confident dog to show him the ropes. He came to the centre as a stray so will need help with house training and leaving time needs to be built up once he is settled in. Noel loves a game of chase so will not do well living with cats.

It’s a Waggy Wednesday from all of us here at Canterbury! If you are interested in Noel or any other of our dogs please contact the rehoming centre for more information on 01227 792505 or visit them at: Radfall Road, Chestfield, Nr Whitstable, Kent, CT5 3ER. Opening times are 12pm-4pm everyday except Wednesdays and we are now open late on Thursdays until 7.30pm.
