It’s raining Dogs and more Dogs
A week ago, we got the keys to our long awaited rebuild! In what has been the craziest and busiest week ever for our management and canine carers with moving dogs, cleaning, organising a brand-new facility, we have been able to take in an additional 22 dogs.
Some of these dogs have appeared on the website in the last couple of days and more are being assessed currently. Some of our dogs only came in a day ago, so they will need at least seven days to be fully assessed by our behaviourist and canine carer teams to determine their rehoming requirements and most suitable homes. Once they are ready to find their forever homes, they will have their photoshoot and will be uploaded to the website.
In our public area, where possible, we will have as many of our available dogs on show to the public. But if we don’t have enough kennel space, we advertise any additional dogs around the reception centre on bright yellow posters.
Some of our dogs are in foster, so any information on them will be posted on our website and on the Home from Home board in our reception area.
We regularly update our website as soon as a dog is available, with fancy pictures and important information about each dog and their home requirements. We also share pictures, videos and centre updates on Instagram and Twitter.
Now we have new, superior facilities and masses of extra space, we are so excited to be able to give our dogs the best possible time and help make kennel life a little easier whilst they await their forever homes.
