Sweetheart Sean is seeking his forever home!

Sean, a Lucher

Lurchers, like other sighthounds are often overlooked at our centres. This is surprising as they make such gentle and loyal companions.

Contrary to popular belief, they are quite the lazy breed – after a quick zoomies, they love nothing more than a comfy bed or sofa to snooze on.

Lurcher Sean, jumping with a toy in his mouth Sean is a 9-year-old Lurcher with a sweet and gentle temperament looking for a family to call his own. He’s a typical lurcher - loves a zoom around our fields and then would quite happily fall asleep on a sofa if he could!

He is gentle on lead and loves his walks in our woods too! He can become a little vocal on lead though but that’s only because he wants to say hello to everyone especially his doggy mates.

Sean is looking for patient adopters who will give him space to settle into his new surroundings. He has the potential to live with the right dog. He can also live with calm children 14 years and over but in classic Lurcher style, cats and other small furries are a definite no!

Sean’s a clever boy who loves his food so this will help with his basic training as he relaxes into his new home.
