In the Spotlight at Canterbury - Jackie!

Find out more about Jackie, a sweet Collie Cross at Dogs Trust Canterbury.

Jackie, a Collie Cross, on a walk.

This week Dogs Trust Canterbury is appealing for a home for Jackie.

Jackie is a very sweet 2-year-old Collie Cross who finds the world a little scary. She enjoys playing with her toys outside in our exercise compounds and walks nicely with her canine friends at the centre. Jackie is quite noise sensitive but settles when things are quiet. She also finds meeting new people a little daunting and will need adopters that will give her time and space to build her confidence.

Jackie is looking for a quiet adult only home where initially she will have someone with her all the time while she settles in. She is looking for adopters that will commit to visiting her multiple times at the centre to build a good relationship with her. Our Training and Behaviour team will give advice and support around settling Jackie into her new home; once settled, Jackie will be great company. Jackie will need immediate access to her own private and secure garden.

If you are interested in rehoming Jackie, please contact the Canterbury Rehoming Centre on 01227 792505 or visit them at: Radfall Road, Chestfield, Nr Whitstable, Kent, CT5 3ER. Opening times are 12pm-4pm everyday except Wednesdays and we are now open late on Thursdays until 7.30pm.
