Wales pup Samson Lee looking to win his perfect match

Staff at Dogs Trust Bridgend are appealing to dog loving rugby fans to “try” and help find a home for a sweet natured Staffie named after Samson Lee due to his striking similarity to the Welsh prop. This is where similarities with the Scarlets prop end as this laid back lad is far too chilled out to chase after a ball instead preferring to cuddle up on the sofa and watch the game with a few doggy snacks.

Super Staffie Samson may look like a big tough dog but that couldn’t be further from the truth as this big softy loves his home comforts and looks forward to a quiet snooze in front of the fire with loving owners who will give him endless cuddles. Eight year old Samson was handed into Dogs Trust Bridgend through no fault of  his own when his owner was no longer able to care for  him.

Linda Feagan, Dogs Trust Bridgend Supporter Relations Officer, says:

"Samson is a real cuddle monster who is really missing his home comforts so we really hope he finds the loving home he deserves. He is a super character and we adore this chilled out boy at the Rehoming Centre. He would rather watch you fetch a rugby ball than pick it up himself but would make a very affectionate family member for a lucky owner. Samson is a gentle dog who can live with children as young as 11. We are appealing for Welsh dog lovers to help him find a home so he can scrum down on the sofa with a new owner and watch Wales play Italy on the weekend.”
