How to Donate Dormant Client Accounts
You can donate unclaimed client funds to Dogs Trust under the following conditions:
- Where the rightful owner cannot be traced despite reasonable attempts
- Firms can usually donate unclaimed balances up to £500 without Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) permission, provided the required conditions are met
- For amounts over £500, the SRA form must be completed and approved.

Contact us
Email us with your intent to donate. We’ll then send you an indemnity form along with our bank details.
Submit your donation
Once the paperwork is complete, you can transfer the funds to Dogs Trust via bank transfer.
Confirmation
After we receive your donation, we’ll send you a personal thank you and acknowledgement of your generous support.
