Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Sifah (was Ollie) from Manchester

Hello to everyone at Dogs Trust! Our gorgeous boy Sifah joined our family three months ago now, so we thought we would share a little update to let you know how he’s getting on. Sifah is such a happy dog, he loves everyone he meets (whether they have two legs or four) and loves to go running and for long walks in the countryside. He takes up half our bed at night, is the reason we are constantly vacuuming, and makes us laugh every day with his funny personality and husky ‘talking’. Our family and friends all absolutely adore him, and we can’t believe how lucky we are to have him as part of our family. We really hope we can help encourage potential new dog owners to consider rehoming a dog, particularly one with medical needs, as these dogs especially are so often overlooked. Sifah has epilepsy, but this is such a small part of who he is. With a little extra love and attention, he is every bit a typical dog, and Dogs Trust are always there if we need support. We can’t thank Dogs Trust enough for matching us with Sifah, he has changed our lives for the better and has definitely found his forever home!
