Covid-19 update April 2021: Our rehoming centres are currently closed to the public for general browsing. We’re still rehoming virtually and we’re here to help if you can no longer care for your dog. Please don’t visit, or travel to our centres unless you have already been matched with a dog, or are leaving donations at one of our contact-free drop off points.

Carter from Evesham (Worcestershire)

We adopted Carter from Evesham in January 2020. He was in the quiet section of the compound due to having very high anxiety issues and fears of the unknown! We first spotted him on the website, and went to go visit him the next day, and we completely fell in love. We worked with the team at Evesham and visited him regularly before taking him home, he wouldn't come within 10 feet of us, and we knew it was going to be a long road ahead! After 3 months of attention, fuss, routine and confidence building he is a completely different dog! He loves both myself and my husband, and slowly getting used to new people coming around the house. I couldn't ask for a better first dog, and we love him to bits. His personality is adorable and he is so affectionate and playful and loves cuddles on the sofa and learning new tricks. We still have a long road ahead but we are confident that he will be a brave boy in time with the help of our loving home.
