Hydrotherapy success for sweet lad Bill

10 year old Bill came to us due to a change in his family circumstances. This older chap was carrying some weight, at a whopping 52kg, which contributed to some quite severe joint and hip issues poor Bill was unfortunately experiencing. Our vets made it their mission to help him reduce his weight quickly and safely.

Bill started a regular schedule of hydrotherapy while he was with us. Initially Bill took part in these sessions weekly then, as he continued losing weight, we reduced it to once a fortnight. Thanks to the dedication of our hydrotherapist, Bill lost 10kg since his first intake and is much more lively now he’s shed the pounds.

As soon as Bill was healthy enough to find his forever home, this sweet boy was snatched up. He comes in just once a month to maintain his weight to help keep his joints nice and comfortable.

He’s a chatty boy, has lots to say and don’t let his owners miss a mealtime. He gets super excited to get in the car and come to his hydro sessions. Bill now lives with a little older westie who rules the house! He goes for weekend holidays to West Wales and couldn’t have asked for a better home.
