Are you right for Ceaza?

Energetic and affectionate boy Ceaza is a 3 and a half year old Bull Terrier with springs in his feet. He will make an amazing adventure buddy as he is super chill in the car and loves to go out and about exploring. Playtime is the best, he adores a cheeky game of fetch and will happily bound around after toys thrown for him, soft toys and teddies do not stand a chance with him as he likes to defluff them in record timing. He thinks of himself as a bit of a lap dog at times, but is happy to sit beside you on the sofa for fusses, he sometimes even sits against you, mimicking your stance. This wonderful boy is ready to find his new home.

Is Ceaza right for you?

Ceaza is looking for a home with loving and active adopters who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He is a friendly and playful bean who could live with secondary school children who are comfortable around a larger, clumsy dog, who will play with him nicely and will give him space to rest when needed. Ceaza likes all of the attention to himself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he would benefit from having friendly and playful walking buddies who will help him learn to socialise with other dogs in a polite way. Ceaza is a clever guy and already has some training under his belt, he does a lovely “sit”, “paw”, “down” and “wait”, he is eager to engage in training in short, sweet sessions as long as a tasty treat is on offer. He would like a home with a private or communal, secure garden for him to potter about in at his leisure, although this is not a necessity. Ceaza can settle nicely in the home, so could be left for up to 6 hours, leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Ceaza may need a special diet and medication down the line for his skin and will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear all of this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

How our rehoming process works

  1. 1

Create an account and fill out our application form

In our form you can tell us all about your home, your lifestyle and the kind of dogs you’re interested in. You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can add favourites to give us an idea of the dogs you like. We’ll use this information to find a great match for you.

  2. 2

    Choose a rehoming centre

We’ll also ask you to select a rehoming centre. The team at this centre will look after your application and assess you against all suitable dogs in their care. This doesn’t have to be your nearest centre, but you will need to travel there within a few days once we’ve found...

    We’ll review your application

We’ll review your application against the dogs in our care at your chosen centre. If we think we have the right dog for you, we’ll be in touch as soon as possible. If we don’t hear back from you, we will close your application for now, and you can reapply when you’re ready.

If we’ve found a dog who seems right for you, we’ll invite you to come and meet them at the rehoming centre.

Some of the dogs in our care will need to meet potential owners several times to get to know one another. This lets us see you’re compatible and gives you the chance to build a bond before making a commitment to give them a new home. By taking some time at the beginning to make sure everyone’s comfortable, an adoption is more likely to be successful.

We may also arrange a home visit with you, to see how your house will be set up and check that the garden (if you have one) is secure. This may not be necessary, though, especially if you’ve adopted from us before. Where you already have dogs, we may accept a reference from your vet as an alternative.

  6. 6

If we haven’t found the right match, we’ll continue the search together

If we haven’t found the right dog for you within three months, we’ll let you know your application is closed. We’ll invite you to apply again so we have up-to-date information about you, and we’ll keep looking.
