Are you right for Betty?

Sweet and friendly girl Betty is an 11 year old Labrador cross who needs a loving home to call her own. She is a super fun and playful girl, she will bound around after a tennis ball with a lust for life just like a puppy. Betty will approach for a fuss within minutes of meeting you, she loves a head and neck scratch and will soon get all silly and roll over for belly scratches, if you dare to stop she will nudge you and lean into you for more. This lovely lass is ready to find her new family.

Is Betty right for you?

Betty is looking for a calm and quiet home with loving and active adopters who can take her on sniffy strolls, who will take the time to help her settle in and give her all the love and attention she deserves. She is a polite and friendly girl but does like her space, so is looking for a home with sensible primary school children who can play with her nicely and will give her space to rest and relax when needed. Betty would like to be the only pet in the home so she can have all of the love and attention to herself, she would be ok with polite and calm walking buddies. Betty is a clever bean and already has training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, “wait”, “paw” and “down”. She can be enticed to engage in training in short sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. She would like a home with a private, secure garden for her to potter about in at her leisure but this is not a necessity as long as her family are happy to take her on regular walks. Betty can settle in the home alone for a few hours, although any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle into her new home. Betty will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home, she is also on daily medication so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
