Are you right for Tulip?

Tulip is one of our lovely ex-racer greyhounds, who has spent some time in the home environment before and is definitely missing her home comforts. However, Tulip has shown us that she is ready to find her forever home and is looking forward to finding a family who has the time and patience to help her settle back into that life, and as an only pet. She would benefit from a family who is able to build any time left alone slowly as she does struggle being on her own. Tulip does still appreciate her own spaces and areas within the home to rest and to eat in peace. She is looking to have an adult only home to help her feel as safe as possible and for a quieter life. She is such a joy to be around and a really wonderful girl who will make a lovely addition to a kind and patient family. Could you be the family Tulip has been waiting for?

Is Tulip right for you?

Tulip is such a sweetheart who has plenty of love to give to the right family. Due to her racing background, she does have a prey drive and so now walks comfortably in her beautiful muzzle. Tulip enjoys fuss and affection and although she is worried in the bath, she shows no concerns with other handling, in fact, she will often lean into you for more scratches in her favourite spots (shoulder and bottom)! Tulip has been spending some time in our office spaces recently to help keep up her skills in indoor spaces and enjoys nothing more than settling and snoozing on her bed, showing how well she will hopefully settle back into home comforts. She is enjoying learning more about toys and playing, and we are sure that she will be keen to meet you and to show you what life could look like with her. Tulip lets her family know when she needs to go to the toilet and tries very hard to be housetrained. Our training team is on hand to help both you and Tulip settle into a shared life together with support during the adoption process, including but not limited to support with building her time left alone and improving her confidence with car training.
