Are you right for Antoine?

Antoine is a charming 5-year-old French Bulldog searching for a calm, adult-only, pet-free home where he can enjoy all the love and attention he deserves. He can be a little reserved with strangers, but with time, patience, and a calm approach, his affectionate and cheeky side shines through. Ant would thrive in a peaceful environment with minimal visitors and a secure garden for off-lead playtime. Because he can be overwhelmed in busy places or around traffic, Antoine would prefer his home to be in a rural or suburban setting with quiet walking routes. He isn’t a high-energy dog and would be perfectly content with short strolls along the beach, followed by long, cosy snoozes on the sofa. Antoine travels well in the car, which is ideal if needing to drive him a little further to reach a quieter walking spot. His adopters should be patient and willing to let him build trust at his own pace, with support from our training team to continue the positive progress he’s made.

Is Antoine right for you?

Antoine (affectionately known as Ant) is a sweet, quirky little chap with bundles of personality and love to give. Once he trusts you, he’ll lean in for fuss and soak up every bit of affection. He’s a playful boy who adores his toys, especially a game of fetch, though he can get a bit carried away—so short, fun play sessions suit him best. Around the home, he’s a gentle soul who settles beautifully and makes an excellent office buddy, content to snooze on his bed while you work. Ant is a real foodie, has a smart brain, and is eager to please, all of which makes him incredibly attentive and clever when training. Antoine also has an ongoing skin condition that’s currently being managed with diet and topical treatments, so we’re looking for adopters who can offer him a comfortable space—and perhaps even a short stay before adoption—while we learn more about his needs.
