Are you right for Olly?

Olly is a fantastic young man with so much love for people and a big zest for life. He is energetic, sweet natured to his core. With some dedicated and patient owners, Olly will make an amazing companion to his special someone. Olly would thrive in an adult only home in a quiet, rural location without much traffic passing by. His adopters should be able to be at home most of the day at the start until he is settled and leaving time can be built up. Olly has been doing really well at building his confidence around the other dogs at the Centre, but we feel he would be best suited as the only dog in the home. Sometimes he does enjoy saying hello to other calm, friendly dogs when out and about but quieter walking areas are much less stressful for him. Olly has some behaviour quirks that he will need to work on with his adopters and the Centre Training Team, so his new family will need to be ready and dedicated to this process! His adoption process will involve multiple meets here at the Centre, followed up by visits to the home with the Training Team. Olly has lots of energy for playtime and silliness! He loves to play with water and zoom around wide-open spaces. Therefore, he will need a secure outdoor space to enjoy throughout the day. Another awesome thing about Olly is that he is the smartest boy who loves to learn! He is always challenging himself to add more tricks and skills to his list. He would be an amazing dog for someone with an interest in training, or enrichment activities such as scent work, as he just loves to keep his brain busy.

Is Olly right for you?

This handsome boy is a friendly three-year-old Collie Crossbreed who is looking for a home that will spend plenty of time working at his pace. Olly has been with us here in Ballymena for most of his adult life, and he has formed fantastic relationships with all of his handlers as they have taken the time to work out what makes him tick! We are incredibly proud of how far Olly has come while in our care, and we can’t wait for him to take that next step and finally find the home he deserves. Olly is a firm favourite here at the Rehoming Centre with all the staff, this is because of his happy personality and that super cute face that makes us all smile, we have no doubt he will do the same for his new family. If you think you could offer Olly his forever home, please follow the steps below and don't forget to favourite him in your application.
