Covid-19 update: Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with social distancing measures in place to keep our staff and adopters safe.

Shoreham (Sussex)

Come say hello!

Our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us. We’ve set up new processes to keep staff, visitors and adopters safe, including matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free.

Local restrictions may affect our rehoming procedures, so please check the rules for your area: we’re not able to facilitate appointments or adoptions across different tiers, or anywhere there are travel restrictions.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

We're the team at Dogs Trust Shoreham. There are 52 kennels here, so the centre is quite big and our staff care for a lot of dogs every year thanks to support from people like you. Every dog deserves a loving home, and we've got quite a few looking! Drop in to find your perfect match. :)

If you have any rehoming queries or want to know more about a particular dog, please call the centre on 01273 452576.

*Current volunteering opportunities*

It is so wonderful to see our dogs rehomed, especially when it means they get to spend the most loving day of the year as part of a devoted new family. We’re thrilled that we were able to capture this special moment and wish them a lifetime of happiness in their new homes...

Did you know our Supporter Relations Officers (SROs), Lisa Herbert & Pia Offord, can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre?  They also deal with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one, as well as answering any questions about our free Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies. Pia & Lisa also organise the annual Fun Day and help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
