Salisbury (Wiltshire)

Come say hello!

Our rehoming centres are not open for public browsing but you can still make an appointment to adopt or bring a dog to us. We’ve set up new processes which include social distancing measures to help keep staff, visitors and adopters safe. We’re now matching dogs with their new homes virtually and delivering dogs contact-free. For dogs who need more time to get to know their new family, you can now meet them at our rehoming centres by appointment.

We’re currently experiencing an unprecedented amount of interest, with some dogs getting several hundred applications. Please bear with us, we’re doing everything we can to find our dogs their forever homes.

If you are thinking about getting a new doggy addition for your family you have come to the right place!

We aim to cater for each dog’s specific needs, so no-one who visits the centre is ever deemed ‘unsuitable’ to adopt. Each dog we have in our care needs something different from a new home so we try to match the dog to the right owner and their home environment. This means that if you have young children, no garden or are simply not as mobile as you once were, there will be a suitable dog waiting for you!

At 52.9 miles away, Salisbury is the closest Dogs Trust centre to Bristol. It takes around 1 hour 20 minutes in the car, via the A36.

Please note the telephones are not always answered however if you leave a message someone will call you back.

Did you know our Supporter Relations Officer (SRO), Lucy Hooper, can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre?  She also deals with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one, as well as answering any questions about our free Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies. She also organises the annual Fun Day and helps with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
