Dogs Trust Newbury centre is going through an exciting time, we are currently in the early stages of our rebuild. As with any building work, the rebuild brings with it, its own set of challenges, which includes loosing 3 of our kennel blocks whilst work is carried out to rebuild them. This means we currently only have 17 kennels on site so our dog numbers are limited, but as with any centre they are changing all the time as they go to their forever homes. We also have a number of foster carers on board, which allows us to take in more dogs, if a dog is in foster care it will state this on its profile, therefore please call in the first instance.
The first phase of our rebuild is due to be completed in March 2017 when we look forward to moving into the first section of new kennels which will bring with it more kennel space for us to be able to increase our dog numbers.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to visit us or contact us, we are still here, open every day 12pm – 4pm except for Wednesdays (CLOSED) and with a late night opening on Tuesday 12pm until 7:30pm.
Please observe any H & S signs or direction given to you when coming on site, many thanks.
