COVID-19: Please note that all our rehoming centres are closed until further notice

In line with Government guidelines, our Contact Centre staff are now working from home. We are currently experiencing a very high number of enquiries, so there may be a slight delay in answering your calls and emails. Please bear with us, we will help you as soon as we can.

Leeds

Come and say hello!

Our centres are closed to walk-in members of the public and as of now, we will not be starting the rehoming process for any new adopters. If you are due to take a dog home in the next few days, we will contact you as soon as we can, please bear with us. Anyone who is due to have a rehoming appointment, unfortunately these have been suspended until further notice. Due to Government restrictions, we will be unable to take in dogs to our rehoming centres right now.

If you need urgent help regarding giving up your dog, please contact us immediately and we will offer you as much advice and support as we can. We’d like to reassure you that our wonderful staff will continue to provide the best possible care for our dogs, while avoiding any close interaction with each other.

We’d like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to those individuals, who are doing everything they can to make sure our dogs get fed, walked and looked after. We’d like to say a big thank to you, for your continued support.

The dedicated team here are waiting to welcome you and help find homes for the hundreds of dogs we care for ever year, every one of which deserves a loving home for life. Please feel free to drop in during opening times and talk to us about the wonderful dogs we're looking after.

If you are interested in volunteering at Dogs Trust Leeds you will find our current volunteering vacancies here. Please have a look at our current vacancies and feel free to apply. We will ensure this page is kept up to date.

If you have any general / rehoming queries, or want to ask about a particular dog, please call us on 0113 281 4920 or email the centre reception.

Did you know our Supporter Relations Officers (SRO), Sarah Hey & Sarah Gamble, can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre?  They also deal with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one, as well as answering any questions about our free Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies. They also organise the annual Fun Day and help with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
