About Darlington
Manager Sue Embleton and her team would like to offer you a warm welcome to Dogs Trust Darlington.
Darlington Rehoming Centre first opened in May 1994, and since that time we have rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 18,000 dogs. A big thank you to all those who have rehomed a dog and who have helped in any capacity with our work.
Due to our rebuild taking place over the next year we cannot accommodate our usual 120 dogs, so we only have about 50-60 dogs onsite.
If you would like to speak to the Rehoming Centre team please contact 01325 333 114.
If you would like to send any information to the Rehoming Centre by email please contact [email protected].
Did you know our Supporter Relations Officer (SRO), Gordon Norrie, can offer free talks to community groups and organise tours of the rehoming centre? He also deals with all the local enquiries about donations in memory of a loved one, as well as answering any questions about our free Canine Care Card Scheme or legacies. He also organises the annual Fun Day and helps with the social media coverage for the rehoming centre too!
