Celebrity friends help Dogs Trust launch the MicroChippy!

Dogs Trust was thrilled to welcome celebrity friends (and their dogs) to celebrate the launch of the Dogs Trust MicroChippy, a pop up restaurant where dogs can dine with their owners this Valentine's weekend.

The MicroChippy has been launched to mark the changes in microchipping legislation, which means all dogs in the UK must be microchipped by 6th April 2016.

Call The Midwife star Jack Ashworth, model and blogger Ashley James, TV and radio presenter Olivia Cox, comedian Vikki Stone, wildlife TV presenter Anneka Svenska and TOWIE star Pete Wicks all visited the pop up diner in Clerkenwell. On hand to sample the delicious mutt-friendly menu - exclusively created by Sandia Chang, co-founder of Bubbledogs - was Ashley's pooch Snoop, and Pete's dog Ernest, and the latest addition to his family, French Bulldog puppy Eric, who Pete rehomed from Dogs Trust in 2015.

Ashley and Olivia took some time to grab a quick photo with Snoop, whilst Jack was joined by Patch from Dogs Trust Basildon, who is currently looking for his forever home.
