Covid-19 update: our rehoming centres aren’t open for public browsing, but we’re still rehoming and taking in dogs, with measures in place to keep staff and adopters safe. Find out more about how national Covid-19 restrictions are affecting our rehoming procedures and other activity.

My journey to becoming a Special Someone - Part 2

And wow what a website it the first thing that hit me was a plethora of dogs facing me. I worried I would want to rehome them all, I mean look at all their faces. I chose my nearest centre and went for a browse.

There were small one and big ones, furry ones and smooth ones, the choice was endless and every one had a story to tell. I have to be honest some of the dogs really caught my eye but I had in mind I really wanted a dog I could walk down the street with, a Staffie or a Collie breeds I knew.

So I further narrowed my search and found Herbie, a beautiful collie cross who just had that ‘please play with me’ face.

That was it I was hooked so off to the rehoming centre I went.
