Identifying the effect of hydrotherapy on the welfare of dogs in rehoming centres
Project lead: This project is being led by an external student, as an MSc project.
Who else is involved: The student is being supported by Carys Williams and Naomi Harvey
Project objectives:
To identify what changes, if any, in behaviour and activity occur in kennelled dogs after receiving hydrotherapy treatment, compared to control conditions
To evaluate whether any changes may indicate changes in stress/eustress or a change in welfare state and whether the changes are stable over time and over multiple sessions.
