Run the Cardiff Half Marathon with Dogs Trust and take in some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks, whilst raising funds to help our furry friends. Starting at Cardiff Castle, you’ll pass the Cardiff City Stadium and Millennium Centre, as well as stunning scenery and historic landmarks, such as the beautiful Roath Park Lake and Penarth Marina. Want to join our team in 2021 with your own place?

If you’ve already purchased your own place through the event organisers’ website, then we’d love you to join Team Dogs Trust! You'll get all the benefits of a charity place runner and there is no set fundraising target; we just ask that you raise what you can to help the dogs in our care.

How will your sponsorship help?

Your valued donations go a long way to look after the dogs at Dogs Trust. Here are some figures to give you an idea of how your sponsorship from this event can help the dogs in our care.

£10 could provide a new training lead for one of our dogs.

£20 could provide a comfy dog bed.

£35.80 could pay for the cost of looking after a dog for a day at a Dogs Trust rehoming centre.

Raise the £250 sponsorship target for this event, and you could provide a week's care for one of our canine residents.
