We believe every dog deserves to live life to the fullest. Whether we’re finding them a loving home or offering their owner a helping hand. Campaigning for change in the UK, or vaccinating dogs on the other side of the globe. We work tirelessly to make the world a better place for our furry friends.

Here’s what we’ve achieved in 2024, all thanks to your support!

2025 in numbers...

Finding forever homes

  • We found new homes for 10,023  dogs in the UK and Ireland. Including 479 Underdogs who had been with us for more than six months.
  • 3,546 dogs were fostered by our amazing volunteer foster carer network.

We found homes

for 10,023 dogs across the UK and Ireland.

Supporting dogs and people in crisis

  • Our community clinical animal behaviour team supported 1,390 owners who needed extra help with their dog's behaviour.
  • We helped 403 people find safety from domestic abuse, by offering free, confidential fostering for their dogs through our Freedom service.
  • We supported over 3000 dogs whose owners were at risk of, or experiencing, homelessness, funding 1,800 vet treatments. We also helped 23 homelessness services to become dog friendly through our Together Through Homelessness service.
  • We funded £61,000 worth of emergency treatment for 887 dogs through our Emergency Fund. Helping dog owners on low income with large or unexpected vet bills.
