Are you right for Edna?

Edna is a lovely 2-year-old Whippet Cross who has quickly settled into her foster home and is enjoying exploring her new surroundings. She is an affectionate and loving young girl who thrives on being close to people and loves attention and contact from those around her. Edna is friendly when meeting new people and happily says hello when out and about with her foster family, always enjoying a fuss and some affection. She enjoys her walks, especially having the chance to sniff, explore, and take in the world around her. Edna also travels well in the car and can be left for short periods, although this will need gradually building up in her new home. She could live with sensible secondary school-aged children.

Is Edna right for you?

Edna is looking for a patient and understanding family who are willing to continue her positive training around traffic. She can become worried and reactive around moving traffic and passing cars, so she will need ongoing support and confidence-building in these situations. Edna has also shown some reactivity towards other dogs when out on walks, although she is able to walk past dogs at a distance without issue. With continued positive reinforcement and guidance, Edna has great potential to grow in confidence. She is a sweet, people-loving girl who will make a rewarding companion for a family committed to helping her feel safe and secure while continuing her progress.
