Are you right for Mushroom?

Mushroom would thrive in a home with a private, secure garden where he can relax and play safely. As he can be shy of unfamiliar people initially, a home that offers the option to create space from the front door would be great. He can live with children of upper secondary school age and above. Mushroom would be best suited as the only pet in the home and he should be kept on a lead out and about as he has shown prey drive around livestock.

Is Mushroom right for you?

Mushroom is a sweet-natured 4 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier x Lurcher boy who can be a little shy when meeting new people, but with a little time and patience he soon warms up and enjoys plenty of fuss and attention. He loves getting out and about, happily jumping into the car and travelling well, making him a great companion for offsite walks, which he thoroughly enjoys. Mushroom has a playful side and especially loves his toys, with rope toys being a firm favourite—particularly if he’s allowed to “win”! He takes treats gently, which is great for his ongoing training, and he is currently working on his loose lead walking. He has met several other dogs; he can be playful and friendly with females, while sometimes showing reactivity around entire males, an area that is being worked on.
