Are you right for Quinton?

Sweet and fluffy boy Quinton is a 1 and a half year old Retriever with bags of energy. He loves human company and aims to please, he loves to lean in for a good fuss and will rub himself all over you, he can get a little silly and wiggly when he gets excited. Toys are the best, he loves to chase and catch and sometimes play tuggy with a raggy toy, he can get a little over the top with toys so will need other forms of enrichment to keep his clever brain busy such as destruction boxes and training. This top guy is looking for his new family, could it be you?

Is Quinton right for you?

Quinton is looking for a calm and predictable home with a loving and active family who can take him on sniffy adventures, who will take the time to help him settle in and give him all the love and attention he deserves. He can be worried sometimes and can live with secondary school children who will read when he is uncomfortable and give him space when needed. Quinton likes all of the attention to himself, so is looking to be the only pet in the home, he would benefit from having polite and calm walking buddies who will help him to build confidence around socialising with other dogs. Quinton has a little training under his belt, he can be enticed to engage in training in short sweet sessions if a tasty treat is on offer. He would like a home with a private, secure garden for him to potter about in at his leisure. Quinton can be a little worried being left so is looking for someone home the majority of the time at the beginning to help him settle in, any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once he has had time to settle into his new home. Quinton will need to meet his adopters multiple times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet her within 48hrs of being shortlisted.
